International Pi Day: Fun and Games at Museum of Coastal Carolina and Ingram Planetarium

Taking a budding mathematician with you to Sunset Beach in March?  If so, you'll want to plan on stopping by the Museum of Coastal Carolina and the Ingram Planetarium to help celebrate International Pi Day.  (What is Pi?  Oh, you remember, don't you?  Pi is the symbol for the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter. The first few digits of Pi = 3.1415926535… )

On March 9th, 2013, you will find many opportunities for fun and frivolity (which are really good ways to get kids to enjoy learning things, without noticing that they are . . . learning things) planned at both of these great places in Sunset Beach and nearby Ocean Isle.

Visit the Museum site to find out more.
